Tanjore Painting

Tanjore Painting art form draws its immediate resources and inspiration from way back about 1600A.D. It is characterized by rich, flat and vivid colors, simple iconic composition, glittering gold foils overlaid on delicate but extensive gesso work and inlay of glass beads and pieces or very rarely precious and semi precious gems.

KERALA MURAL PAINTING

The word ‘mural’ is derived from the Latin word ‘murus’, meaning ‘wall’. Murals refer to paintings embellished on visual components like the wall, ceiling, or other huge lasting surfaces. The murals of Kerala unfathomably stand out for their prominence in beauty, clarity and symmetry with unmatchable linear accuracy. The peculiarity of Kerala murals is their simple and thematic presentation of idealistic reproduction of humans, animals and trees with technical excellence, illustrated with rich and delicate strokes, hued with bright colours which epitomize Kerala Murals. The murals palette consists of five colours or Panchvarna namely, yellow, red, green, black and white, prepared from mineral pigments and vegetables in olden days and now using acrylic colors . These paintings belong to a distinguished lineage with its tradition carries influences from Ajanta.The expressions are depicted with artistic mastery.

CERAMIC OIL PAINTING

ceramic oil painting is the art made by using ceramic paste to create small projections and shapes to give a lively look and attraction for the objects present in the scenary and brought to life using the oil paints

Pencil Sketching

Sketching is the base for all paintings. It can be done using pencils, pens or with simple strokes using paints.

Initially Sketching is taught using pencils to make students more comfortable to work with. During the course of time students will learn using different types of usage of pencils for giving different effects, types of papers, erasers and sketching tools which help them make detailed drawings in different types of sceneries, objects, animals and human figures.

WATER COLORING

Watercolor painting is a painting method in which the paints are made of pigments suspended in a water-based solution.Watercolors are usually translucent, and appear luminous made using the brush with a very delicate strokes on different types and different Colors of papers

Decoupage

Students will learn techniques of decorating a surface with paper cutouts, finishing with oil painting and varnishing. Surfaces can be as varied as ceramic plates, pots, wood and glass.

Marble Relief Painting

Marble relief painting is an art from with various shapes of trees, flowers and birds created using marble powder and oil paints

Mysore Painting

Mysore Painting is a form of classical South Indian painting, which evolved in 1500AD at Mysore city of Karnataka.Mysore paintings form a significant tradition of the classical south Indian paintings. These paintings are famous for their elegance, peculiar usage of colors, delicate gold foils and the stress on detailing.

GLASS PAINTING

Student Learns how to make outlines using different glass mediums and the materials, mixing of different colours , addition of solvents, cleaning brushes and maintenance

Pastel

Pastel Painting is a colorful method of painting which is a dry medium. It also gives the same effect as any other painting because of its dry surface there is no need for us to wait till it dries and immediately can proceed to next step. Her works also mastered in oil painting, Acrylics, water colors, glass painting,sketching and decoupage.Many of her works are exhibited at various places across the country.

Many of her students are now turned into self enterprenuers with their own works and creations with the help of her personal guidance in helping them become self creative and efficient in all the processes including all the final touchups involved in making a perfect painting.
